A very fine Juglans nigra (black walnut)

It’s that park again! I swear, I could run this blog on images from that park alone for a solid month…!

Next to the main house, which is near enough central to the park, I came across this large black walnut tree. What struck me most was the number of large, ground-touching limbs. Much broader than it was tall, that’s for certain!
