Alternative uses for windthrown trees

I was looking many of the trees in an amenity park today and thought I’d share some of the ingenuity displayed with regards to using the remnants of windthrown trees for amenity purposes. With a bit of imagination, such trees can be used to provide for an entirely different visitor experience.

This fallen oak stem has been turned into a very crude bench, situated just alongside a wildflower area.

And here a wizard does battle with a dragon. All of this was made from wood of a mature oak. The wizard is the butt, and the dragon the stem.
